In addition, SMaRT group has access to facilities in other labs, such as optical/fluorescence microscopy, Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), X-ray Diffraction, FT-IR, UV-Vis, BET surface area measurement, Zeta-potential, GC, and HPLC.
Confocal microscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) in the Microscopic Imaging Core Suit (MICS) at the Core University Research Resources Laboratory can also be used by all NMSU affiliates.
